'Chartsoft' was born out of the necessity of a busy Chartered Accountant's Practice to harness the potential of information technology.

Working with fellow accountants it became obvious that common issues such as data input duplication and the lack of a centralised database impacted adversely on practices due to the costly combination of utilising various software packages.

Chartsoft's success is due to the commitment of a firm of Chartered Accountants to build a comprehensive system to resolve the need for practices to buy 'piecemeal' solutions from various sources.

Growing issues relating to minimising the 'carbon footprint' have generated further development to incorporate a document management system for communications storage and retrieval eliminating the need for printing, postage and paper retention.
